Château Haut-Brisson – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is floral, with fruit and spices, offering good definition, a certain intensity in the spices and a hint of saffron in its floral side. It reveals a hint of lilac, notes of small fleshy red fruits, as well as a subtle, almost fresh balsamic note and a discreet Mediterranean barrier side. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh and crystalline, with juiciness and aromatic concentration. It also offers a tangy frame, precision, a certain slight tension and a fine unctuosity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, juicy/pulpy raspberry, and more lightly cherry, combined with touches of juicy/pulpy plum, as well as fine hints of chocolate, toast and toasted almond. Finely mellow tannins. Nicely fresh and juicy, with pulpiness and gourmandise.
