The nose is velvety, spicy and offers a certain elegant darkness and depth of spices. It reveals notes of boysenberry, violet and small bright red berries, associated with touches of lilac, nutmeg, as well as fine hints of small concentrated red plum. The palate is mineral, it offers a fresh frame, energy, acidity and a little pulpy side of fruit. It also presents juiciness and slightly gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/tangy violet plum, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of brilliant cherry, combined with touches of lily, nutmeg, as well as a fine, almost blueberry-like hint, warm pine needle, toastiness and hazelnut/chocolate. Good length.
