The nose is fruity, elegant, velvety and offers plenitude and a certain aromatic depth. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pulpy red plum and small notes of small bright/pulpy black fruits, associated with touches of bergamot, a fine hint of maceron, sweet pepper, as well as hints of pulpy bigarreau cherry and a discreet hint of toastiness. The palate is fruity, juicy, suave and offers a mineral frame, good definition, a certain juiciness and suppleness. It also presents gourmandise, plenitude and harmonious, with a lovely mid-palate and a slight ample side of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, violet and small notes of fleshy/pulpy wild cherry, combined with touches of pulpy/juicy violet plum, as well as hints of small red fruits, star anise and nutmeg. Good length. The tannins are mellow and gourmand. A hint of dark chocolate in the background.
