Château Chante Alouette – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Chante Alouette – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic, frank and offers straightness, a stretch side and a fine, elegant darkness. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of small concentrated blue fruits, associated with touches of cornflower, vanilla, as well as discreet hints of lilac, nutmeg and hints of iodized. The palate is mineral, juicy, fresh, it offers a lovely airy side, a tangy frame, a lovely textured of finesse/accuracy, precision and an airy side in the density of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of blackberry, combined with touches of small brilliant red fruits, as well as mineral, tonka bean, toasted/roasted hints and a hint of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are pretty, mellow, gourmand and iodized.
