Luigi Moio, professor of oenology at Naples University, writer, scholar and internationally renowned figure (he was also president of the OIV – International Vine Organization) founded the company almost 25 years ago in Mirabella Eclano. From a 2-hectare cru on calcareous clay soil at an altitude of 420 meters, he produced a classic Taurasi, with a multifaceted nose, a remarkably long and compact palate and an expressiveness that will shine even brighter over time.
