Perfumed with ripe fruits, dried herbs, and a touch of woodsmoke; the palate is rich and opulent, laden with sweet ripe dark fruits. There is a savoury spicy note that provides balance to the sweet blackcurrants, plums and dark cherries. The oak is there but subtle. There is plenty of concentration, a good tannic structure and a lingering finish. A fine example of Marlborough Pinot.
