The nose is aromatic and offers a beautiful texture, a certain richness as well as a certain power and intensity in control. We find notes of pulpy/fresh vine peach, pulpy/fresh pear and small notes of citrus fruits (quince…) associated with a floral hint, a subtle hint of pulpy apricot, salty as well as a discreet lime or even zest side. The palate is beautifully built, supple, fresh, gourmande and offers precision, a nice roundness, fat in finesse as well as suppleness. A beautiful coating side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy vine peach, quenette, fresh pear and small notes of lychee associated with touches of ripe lime, a hint of mandarin, passion fruit as well as a discreet almost pineapple hint (in the background). A beautifully racy wine (marked by the terroir). Good work on the good bitterness, on the barrel influences (vanilla…) and the salinity. Beautiful finish and good persistence.
