Monteverro – Tinata 2021 – Maremma Toscana

The nose is racy, elegant, frank, and fresh. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright red berries, Bigarreau cherry and small notes of fleshy strawberry combined with touches of star anise, a sense of place (local biotope) as well as a discreet hint of sage, flowering thyme, and a subtle hint of warm olive. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandise, a tangy frame, concentration, a beautiful freshness, roundness, silkiness, delicacy, as well as a beautiful deepness. A racy wine (sense of place / local biotope). On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, concentrated wild red berries, and small notes of rhubarb combined with touches of fresh raspberry as well as fine hints of crushed red berries, chocolate, tobacco, toasted almond, and a hint of balsamic. A subtle hint of vanilla in the background.
