Poggioargentiera – Ciliegiolo 2023 – Maremma Toscana Ciliegiolo DOC

The nose is elegant and fruity and offers a deep and charming side. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of small, brilliant wild red berries, juniper berries andsmall notes of blackberry associated with touches of laurel berries, nutmeg and discreet hints of spice. The palate is fruity and offers a certain pulpiness and nicely defined and precise. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, brilliant violet plum andsmall notes of small brilliant red berries associated with touches of cranberry, brilliant fruit as well as a hint of balsamic, sage and laurel berries. Notes of toasted, crushed almond in the background.
