The nose is fruity, fresh and elegant, racy and offers good definition and depth. It reveals notes of quite ripe wild raspberry, small ripe wild red berries andsmall notes of violet associated with touches of concentrated cassis, tobacco, as well as fine hints of balsamic and discreet hints of toastiness and roasting. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a certain freshness, energy, a good definition and melodious side. In mouth this wine expresses notes of concentrated blackberry, crushed raspberry andsmall notes of violet associated with touches of small roasted-elegant red berries, as well as hints of sage, olive tree and tapenade. Good length. Mellow tannins. A hint of tonka bean and roasted almond in the background.
