The nose is fruity and offers intensity, minerality as well as fine, powerful grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, fleshy cherry andsmall notes of small, quite ripe/fleshy red fruits associated with touches of rosemary, a hint of sage and discreet hints of balsamic and camphor. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, pulpiness, silkiness, a good definition and offers a tangy frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy cassis, small roasted-elegant red berries associated with touches of cornflower, chocolate, toast, as well as hints of roasted hazelnut and a hint of bourbon vanilla. Good length and offers a subtle hint of roasted aromatic herbs in the background.
