The nose is slightly volatile and would benefit from decanting. It reveals notes of concentrated blackberry, crème de cassis and small notes of crushed wild strawberry associated with fine touches of Timut pepper, nutmeg, as well as hints of balsamic and a discreet hint of camphor in the background. The palate is well-built, chiselled and offers good definition, roundness in finesse and a certain concentration and precision. In mouth this wine expresses notes of concentrated cassis, crushed cherry and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits associated with touches of cherry pit, chocolate, balsamic as well as fine hints of roasting. A subtle hint of varietal/local grove on the finish/persistence.
