La Regola – La Regola Rosso 2020 – Costa Toscana Rosso IGT

The nose is complex, it needs to be decanted. It offers a multi-layered side. It reveals notes of flowers, iris, quite ripe wild cassis and small notes of small roasted red fruits associated with fine touches of small blue fruits and hints of balsamic, volatile and black pepper. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a mineral frame, a good definition and a certain juiciness. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, brilliant cassis and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits, associated with touches of olive tree, black olive and fine hints of roasting, cocoa and toast. Good length. A subtle hint of rosemary in the background. A hint of sappy and iodine on the finish.
