The nose needs to be decanted. It’s well-built and offers a certain restrained power, a bit tight, a small freshness. It reveals notes of spice, quite ripe fruit and a hint of local grove. The palate is fruity, mineral and supple and offers fat and roundness. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, brilliant cassis, and small notes of roasted-elegant red cherry associated with touches of star anise, cornflower as well as hints of licorice stick, sage, and a hint of black olive and toast. Good length.
