The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose is rich, chocolatey and fruity. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, ripe morello cherry, crushed raspberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, as well as aromatic herbs (sausage mint, rosemary, fresh thyme), coffee, toasted almond, cocoa, dry black tea, dried rose, violet, as well as spices (liquorice, cardamom, nutmeg, a very light hint of vanilla), combined with mineral notes of limestone and earth. The palate is juicy, straight and tangy. It expresses flavors of red cherry, raspberry, fresh strawberry, as well as wild mint, rosemary, peony and rose. There is also a gourmet toasted and spicy touch (toasted hazelnut, chocolate, toasted wood, liquorice, nutmeg, a hint of cardamom and vanilla). Good length, with a salivating acidity, a slight bitterness and velvety tannins.
