The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is complex, dense and airy at the same time. It expresses notes of sweet morello cherry, blackberry, black plum (even with a hint of prune sweetness), wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, combined with aromas of dark chocolate, sweet coffee, chocolate-toasted hazelnut, as well as wild mint with its sweet nuance, iris, peony and gourmet spices (vanilla, even cinnamon, liquorice, cumin). On the palate, the wine is juicy and silky, with a supple, enveloping texture and a fruity, gourmand and sweet profile. We find flavors of blackberry, black plum, even prunes, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry and chocolate morello cherry, combined with gourmet roasted notes (toasted hazelnut, chocolate toasted almond, sweet coffee, dark chocolate), sweet flowers (iris, peony), as well as vanilla, liquorice and wild mint in the background. The tannins are soft and sapid, firm and structured, but with a fine grain. The finish is tasty and persistent, chocolatey, with a supple but fresh acidity.
