The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is toasted and spicy at first (toasted hazelnut, toasted wood, vanilla, liquorice, cardamom, tonka bean, a hint of dark chocolate). Then, we find a fruity, juicy and gourmand substance (ripe morello cherry, raspberry coulis, blackberry, fresh raspberry), as well as a herbaceous (dry bergamot tea, dried mint) and floral hint (violet). The palate is firm, tannic, even a little drying. The attack expresses notes of tart red cherry, cranberry, raspberry, bird cherry, as well as a hint of bitter citrus (bergamot, grapefruit). Then we find spicy flavors (liquorice, nutmeg, tonka bean), herbaceous (dried mint) and a tangy hint of cocoa nibs. The tannins are solid and firm, softened by a mouthwatering acidity and fresh fruitiness. Good persistence, lively and mouthwatering.
