The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers a certain concentration, as well as a toasted, roasted and slightly smoky hint at the opening (toasted almond, roasted bouquet garni, a hint of coffee). Then we find notes of tangy fruits (fresh red cherry, dried red cherry, dried cranberries, blueberry), as well as a hint of wild mint, grated nutmeg, liquorice and crushed cardamom, complemented by a sweet hint of iris and black plum. The palate has a tangy and tight attack, on fresh fruits (cranberries, raspberry, tangy strawberry, bird cherry). The tannins are grippy and structured, a little raspy, but not grainy. Beautiful salivating acidity on the persistence. The finish is quite persistent and expresses the tannic and slightly bitter hint of bird cherry, as well as a hint of chocolate blackcurrant. A structured wine, with a tangy and mineral structure.
