(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose expresses fleshy and juicy fruit aromas (morello cherry, wild strawberry, fresh and dried red cherry, crushed raspberry with a hint of raspberry coulis), combined with a distinct spicy and toasted notes (liquorice, vanilla, tonka bean, coffee, toasted almond, dark chocolate), as well as touches of dried mint, dried wild herbs and dried rose, as well as a mineral background. The palate is juicy, fruity and savory, with a distinct spiciness and toastiness on the attack (liquorice, ground nutmeg, a hint of tonka bean and cardamom, toasted almond, dark chocolate and coffee). Then we find notes of ripe, sweet, even jammy fruit (juicy morello cherry, red cherry jam, crushed raspberry, raspberry coulis, wild strawberry, crushed blackberry), as well as wild mint and peony. The acidity is fresh and mouth-watering, the tannins are fine, silky and chalky. The finish is rather persistent, tangy and mineral, with a touch of chocolate.
