Riecine 2021- Chianti Classico Riserva

(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose is fresh, tangy, fruity, with an expressive aroma of crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, crushed blueberry, as well as liquorice, nutmeg, vanilla, morello cherry with cocoa bean and tonka bean, combined with touches of rose peony and Earl Grey tea, as well as dry earth and limestone. The palate is juicy, chiseled and tart, with a tangy and fruity attack (red cherry, blueberry, raspberry, red currant, strawberry), a good bitterness of coffee and bergamot, as well as spicy notes in the middle (vanilla, cardamom, tonka bean), toasted notes (almond, wood), and a herbaceous touch of Earl Grey tea and dried mint. The tannins are firm, but fine and well-built. Nice acidity with toasted notes of hazelnut and cocoa on the finish.
