The wine has a pale ruby color, with slight garnet reflections. The nose offers accuracy, concentration in freshness and delicacy in its toasted and spicy notes (toasted hazelnut, smoke, toasted wood, a hint of chocolate, licorice, vanilla in the background, a touch of nutmeg and white pepper), combined with a refined mineral touch. There is also an enveloping and fresh fruity material (red cherry, raspberry, morello cherry, red currants), as well as a touch of peony, wild mint and fresh rosemary. The palate is precise, lively and harmonious. It expresses notes of cranberries, tart red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry and raspberry, combined with a savoury spiciness (liquorice, nutmeg, a touch of pepper). There is also a slight bitterness of fresh cherry, bergamot tea and grapefruit, combined with coffee and toasted almond, as well as notes of mint chocolate and rosemary. The texture on the palate is delicate, silky and refined, with polished and melted tannins. The finish is sapid and persistent, slightly chocolatey. A slender, fresh wine, with precision.
