The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fresh, with juicy and delicious fruit, with precision and purity. It opens with notes of ripe red cherry, morello cherry, red currant and wild raspberry, combined with a hint of blueberry, as well as a delicate herbal side (fresh rosemary, wild mint, bergamot tea, blackcurrant leaf in the background). After aeration, we also find spicy notes (liquorice, cardamom, a very delicate touch of vanilla), as well as roasted notes (toasted hazelnut, cocoa, toasted wood) and roasted herbs. The palate is chiseled, precise and fresh, with a straight, slightly bitter attack (cranberries, grapefruit). Then, it expresses flavors of red cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry. Notes of bergamot, coffee, licorice, cardamom, and white pepper are also present in the background, combined with hints of toasted wood, roasted herbs, and dried mint. The finish is savory and indulgent, with flavors of blueberry and morello cherry, as well as cocoa and coffee. Tannins are silky, combined with a refreshing acidity.
