The wine has a pale ruby color, with slight garnet reflections. The nose offers a lot of freshness and a refined herbaceous side. It expresses notes of tangy fruits (raspberry, blueberry, wild strawberry, morello cherry, roasted red cherry), associated with wild mint, roasted rosemary, infused bergamot tea, a hint of fresh tobacco and damp leaf in the background (the tertiary notes are very light and almost imperceptible). There is also spiciness (liquorice, crushed cardamom, white pepper) and a hint of roasting (toasted bitter almond, a hint of coffee and cocoa nibs). The palate is savory, juicy and enveloping, with solid, grippy but fine tannins, as well as a clear touch of roasting (coffee, toast) on the attack. It expresses notes of tangy and slightly bitter red fruits (cranberries, red cherry, fresh cherry, raspberry, blueberry), a tertiary hint (tobacco, faded rose, wet leaves), a fine herbaceous touch (dried mint, dried pine needles). The finish is quite persistent, salivating, with a touch of macerated fruits (macerated red cherry). Sapidity, expressiveness, complexity and a solid structure.
