(bio) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is elegant, perfumed and airy, with a distinct and refined floral bouquet (fresh rose petals, violet, a hint of peony and lilac). After aeration, it expresses a subtle mineral and acidulous frame in the earthy and fruity aromas (red cherry, juicy raspberry, cranberries, a hint of morello cherry and juicy blueberry). There is also an integrated spiciness (liquorice, grated nutmeg, heated coriander seed), as well as toasted hazelnut, heated wood and cocoa nibs, as well as a hint of bouquet garni. On the palate, the wine is tight, but at the same time perfumed, juicy and elegant. It expresses the fruity notes on the attack (red cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, crushed blueberry, a hint of cranberries), as well as a bitter touch of cranberries. There is also distinct but enveloping roasted notes (toasted hazelnut, coffee), associated with notes of liquorice, white pepper and nutmeg. Tannins are tight but have a fine grain. The finish is persistent, with a good bitterness of bergamot and a lively acidity.
