The wine has a pale ruby color with very slight garnet reflections. The nose initially offers elegant floral aromas (rose petals, violet, fresh peony), complemented by notes of juicy, tangy fruits (red cherry, crushed raspberry, red currants, a slight touch of blueberry), as well as a mineral hint of tar (in the background), a fine mentholated hint (pine needles, wild mint) and spiciness (liquorice, cubeb pepper, nutmeg). We also smell fresh and toasted wood, but very lightly. The palate is tight, but tasty, with a cocoa and chocolate attack. Then we find the notes of fresh tangy fruits (red cherry, fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, tangy raspberry, blueberry in the background), complemented by a hint of black plum skin in the mid-palate, as well as herbal notes (wild mint in the background, a touch of blackcurrant leaf and bergamot tea) and sappy (fresh pine needles, pine bark). The finish is persistent, with salivating acidity, tangy fruit flavors and a fine floral scent of fresh rose. Tannins are sapid, powdery and fine, with a slight bitterness of cocoa. Concentration, but the wine is closed at the moment.
