The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers an expressive roasted perfum, with notes of leather, roasted meat and macerated fruits (macerated red cherry, roasted red plum, crushed strawberry, roasted bouquet garni). After aeration, we find menthol notes (wild mint), fresh fruit (raspberry, strawberry, red currants, blackcurrant), a spicy side (liquorice, cardamom) and toasted (toasted hazelnut, coffee, chocolate), as well as an airy floral bouquet (fresh rose, peony). The palate is precise, straight and fresh. The attack opens with tangy notes of raspberry, red cherry, wild strawberry and blackcurrant, combined with a hint of roasted fruit (roasted red plum, roasted red cherry), spices (nutmeg, ground cumin, coriander seeds, liquorice), as well as herbs (dried peppermint, a hint of cut rosemary), flowers (peony, violet) and roasted (toasted hazelnut, cocoa, coffee in the background). Tannins are powdery, soft, but solid. The finish is savory, with salivating acidity and an elegant spicy and minty hint, as well as a gourmet roasted note.
