The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a slight mellowness, slight richness and a good definition. It reveals notes of fleshy wild strawberry, toast and small notes of small fleshy red fruits associated with touches of toasted hazelnut, tonka bean as well as fine sapid hints and sweet spices. The palate is well-built, supple and precise and offers roundness, fatness, a good definition, a certain precision as well as a mineral frame. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of bright wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as hints of toast, toasted almond, toasted hazelnut, fine hints of cornflower, chocolate and fine sapid hints. An almost sappy hint in the background and offers almost blueberry hints on the finish (bring gourmandise). Mellow tannins. A beautiful small chewiness on the finish/persistence.
