I Dof Mati, Trama 2022 – Colline Navaresi Rosso

The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose reveals a juicy fruitiness, increasingly enveloping, even sweet after aeration. It expresses in particular the aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, redcurrant jelly and fresh raspberry, associated with slightly sweet notes of iris and peony, as well as amarena cherry, even macerated plum. There is also a very light toasted side in the background. The palate is straight, tight, with a tangy and slightly bitter attack. It also expresses notes of bird cherry, cranberries, tangy fresh raspberry and red cherry, with a hint of peony and iris in the background. The tannins are firm, dry from the attack on the palate. The finish is quite persistent and expresses the tangy notes of red cherry and cranberries, as well as a hint of rose leaf in the background. A tannic and tight wine, with fresh and juicy fruitiness and a hint of maceration.
