The wine has a pale garnet color. The nose is aromatic, gourmet and fruity at the openning. It expresses notes of ripe fruit (morello cherry, wild strawberry, blackberry, crushed raspberry), combined with slightly sweet touches of vanilla, cinnamon in the background, liquorice, hazelnut in chocolate. After aeration, we find smoky and roasted notes (even a little meaty), as well as fresh flowers (lily, wisteria, a hint of faded rose), nutmeg and heated wood in the background, combined with a hint of tea with bergamot and tobacco. The palate is straight and savory. On the attack, it expresses a tertiary hint of undergrowth, herbaceous notes of tea with bergamot and rose leaf in the background. The mid-palate is tangy and lively, with notes of red cherry, cranberries, raspberry and blackcurrant. We also find notes of toast, smoke and tangy dark chocolate. The tannins are fine, enveloping, slightly grippy, but not dry, with a beautiful structure that gives the wine potential. The finish is chiseled, lively, with salivating acidity and good persistence.
