Orma del Diavolo – Tenuta San Jacopo 2022 – Valdarno di Sopra DOC Rosso

The nose is fruity, silky and offers a certain matter, good definition and elegance. It reveals notes of crushed cherry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of roasted-elegant fruits, associated with a touch of crushed strawberry, as well as a fine, almost lavender-like hint and a discreet hint of nutmeg and sage. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, tension, a small juiciness, some acidity, concentration and offers straightforward and good structure. In mouth this wine notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, crushed red berries, and small notes of roasted-elegant strawberry, associated with touches of vanilla, tonka bean and a hint of toastiness and roasting. Touches of crushed black olive. Smooth tannins. Good length. A fine hint of saltiness in the background.
