Vigna Mulino – Tenuta San Jocopo 2022 – Valdarno di Sopra DOC Sangiovese

The nose is fruity and offers a small gourmandise and a certain purity of fruit. It reveals notes of brilliant cherry, plum and small notes of crushed red berries, associated with a touch of arbutus and fine hints of blond tobacco, plum blossom and a very discreet hint of star anise. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suppleness, freshness, good definition and a certain gourmandise. In mouth this wine notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, violet and small notes of juicy/fresh blue fruits, associated with touches of pulpy redcurrant, as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, star anise and a subtle, almost garrigue-like hint in the background. Good length. Tannins are traced and finely firm.
