Bòggina A – Petrolo 2023 – Val d’Arno di Sopra DOC Sangiovese, vigna Bòggina

The nose is fruity, well-built and offers fine mellowness and texture. It reveals notes of fleshy strawberry, crushed cassis and notes of small bright red berries, associated with touches of fresh violet, cherry blossom as well as fine hints of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, precision, suppleness and a small tension. In mouth this wine notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, raspberry and small notes of bright violet plum, associated with touches of bright red berries, as well as a hint of tobacco, tapenade and cocoa. Tannins are correct, square and frank. A hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
