Torrione – Petrolo 2022 – Val d’Arno di Sopra DOC Pietraviva Rosso

The nose is fruity and offers a fine creaminess. It reveals notes of crushed cherry, crushed strawberry and small notes of small fleshy/juicy blue fruits, associated with touches of vanilla and a subtle hint of lilac and blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, fine tension and roundness. In mouth this wine notes of pulpy raspberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, associated with touches of vanilla, toast and star anise, as well as a hint of black olive and chocolate. Good length and offers a subtle hint of sage and roasting in the background.
