Alessandro del Borro – Il Borro 2019 – Valdarno di Sopra DOC Syrah

The nose needs decanting. It presents a fine intensity, a fine peppery side, a small darkness and a certain creaminess. It reveals notes of morello cherry, bright cassis and small notes of crushed red plum, associated with touches of cubeb pepper, discreet hints of toasted aromatic herbs, camphor and a subtle hint of olive tree and zan. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, good definition, a certain accuracy, a small tension and offers a certain creaminess. In mouth this wine notes of juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy raspberry and small notes of bright red berries, associated with touches of violet, lily, fine hints of tobacco, clove and a discreet hint of local dry basement. A hint of chocolate and freshness.
