Posta Reale – Fattoria Bellosguardo 2021 – Valdarno di Sopra DOC Sangiovese

The nose is fruity and offers fine concentration and a certain power, fleshiness, a lovely balanced richness of fruit and also offers a certain depth of fruit. It reveals notes of blackberry, boysenberry, crushed wild raspberry, and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of red berries, as well as hints of black tea and cubeb pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy and offers freshness, energy, a certain brightness, suppleness and a very discreetly tight grain. In mouth this wine notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, red berries and small notes of redcurrant, associated with touches of cherry blossom, fresh garrigue as well as a hint of laurel/laurel berry. Freshness and a subtle hint of sage and fresh clove in the background.
