There is a hint of menthol and pepper, even cigar box. The palate is round on the attack, fresh with a beautiful note of juicy cherry. There are also hints of cocoa and vanilla. There is good acidity and the tannins are powerful. The long finish is on cherry and blackberry. A lovely wine with potential.
