The nose is fresh and discreet with a fine note of licorice. We also perceive a touch of woodiness very present. The second nose opens with always this note of wood accompanied by black fruits like cherry and blackberry. The palate is powerful, aromatic on the wood. A smoky, barbecue side is quite intense. We perceive notes of black cherry as well as plum. There are some touches of clove. The tannins are marked with a nice acidity. The finish is on coffee and cocoa with always a hint of black fruits.
