The nose is aromatic with wood and potpourri of flowers. There are hints of sweet spices as well as blond tobacco. The second nose opens with more toast, vanilla and sandalwood. There is also a hint of pepper and stewed black fruits. The palate is fresh, intense with notes of leather, cocoa and coffee. We perceive supple but present tannins until the finish with notes of juicy cherry and crisp blackberry. The finish is sappy, fresh even if the tannins are slightly dry at the end.
