The nose is intense with notes of stewed black fruits like cherry, as well as coffee and cocoa. The second nose opens with lovely notes of violet and plum. The palate is fresh, slightly peppery with notes of fresh black fruits like cherry and blackberry. There is good acidity but supple tannins, almost licorice-like. The finish is fine with juicy black cherry.
