Arkenstone – NVD 2021, Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley

The nose is elegant, airy and fresh and offers a certain power of finesse and accuracy of grain. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, pulpy blackberry and small notes of crushed strawberry, associated with touches of cornflower, fine hints of Madagascar pepper, a discreet hint of graphene and a subtle hint of cypress. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, elegant, racy, nicely defined and offers gourmandise, suppleness, beautiful energy and freshness. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, brilliant blueberry, and small notes of crushed strawberry, associated with touches of tobacco, tonka bean, as well as fine hints of chocolate, tobacco, smoke, graphene and a hint of toasted and chocolate. Good length. A subtle hint of balsamic. Tannins are tasty, mellow and gourmand.
