AXR – Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity, elegant, airy, gourmand and offers intensity and a certain aromatic breadth. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of small brilliant blue fruits and offers a subtle hint of concentrated flowers and a hint of nutmeg. The palate is well-built, juicy, fresh, mineral and elegant and offers gourmandise and a tangy frame. It also offers tension, precision, fine creaminess, deepness and intensity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, small crushed black berries and small notes of crushed redcurrants, associated with touches of chocolate, vanilla as well as a hint of crushed blueberry and bright vanilla and offers the roundness of barrel, a hint of sweet blond tobacco, and a subtle hint of sage.
