The nose is elegant, airy in its power, complex and fresh. It reveals notes of bright cassis, cedar and small notes of cherry wood, associated with touches of cherry pit, as well as fine, hints of nutmeg, red pepper and discreet hints of a sense of the place/fresh vegetation. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant, airy and precise. In mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, cassis and small notes of violet plum, associated with touches of small brilliant red fruits, as well as hints of star anise and a subtle hint of toasted. Good length. Tannins are mellow and gourmand and offer a fine chewiness.
