Poetry – Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Cliff Lede Vineyard Stags Leap District – Napa Valley

The nose is elegant, precise and concentrated and offers a certain darkness. It reveals notes of black berries, dried cassis and small notes of undergrowth, associated with touches of violet, as well as fine hints of small concentrated red fruits and black olive. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, a good definition, roundness, fatness and freshness. In mouth this wine expresses notes of quite ripe blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed violet plum, associated with touches of cornflower, licorice stick, tobacco, undergrowth, and a hint of black olive and subtle meat note. Good length. Good persistence. Nice freshness and definition.
