Jean-Baptite FAU – Sur un Fil 2022 – AOP Limoux

The nose is fresh, fruity, taut, silky and fine. There are notes of juicy nectarine, juicy/fresh apple and small notes of lemon blossom associated with fine touches of racy minerality, lychee as well as discreet hints of fresh hazelnut and sage (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a tangy frame, tension, precision, energy as well as a good definition. In mouth this wine expresses notes of crunchy mirabelle plum, kumquat and small notes of citrus zest associated with touches of juicy physalis as well as fine hints of floral, even discreetly sappy. Good length. Fine hints of iodine in the background. Beautiful freshness and juiciness with a fine pulpiness. A fine iodized side and a beautiful textured, a finely creamy side. The finish is round, gourmand and sapid. Beautifully juicy, fresh and taut wine that offers structure and a discreet, almost chalky side.
