Domaine Sol Payré – Invictus 2023 – AOP Côtes du Roussillon

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, gourmand and offers a discreet, almost maceration side as well as a fine vinous side. We find notes of kumquat, pulpy/juicy yellow berries and small notes of fresh yellow peach associated with touches of fresh kumquat as well as a subtle almost orange and rosemary hint. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suppleness, a tangy frame, tension, a beautiful definition, a certain roundness as well as a beautiful structure. It expresses notes of kumquat, small juicy/pulpy yellow berries, yellow peach associated with fine hints of mandarin as well as fine hints of zest, vinous, olive tree and a discreet hint of almond. A subtle hint of tannic in both aroma and structure. A gastronomic white wine.
