Château Grand Village 2022 – Bordeaux blanc

Château Grand Village 2022 – Bordeaux blanc

The nose is beautifully elegant, fresh, racy, with a certain little power. It reveals notes of white peach, white grapefruit and small notes of fresh zest associated with floral touches, fresh anise as well as fine hints of juicy and ripe yellow nectarine. We also perceive a hint of acacia flowers, verbena, a subtle note of ripe lychee, a hint of beeswax and peach flowers. The palate is beautifully conducted, supple, fresh and elegant, with a lovely airy character. It offers a very nice balance, a nice energy and a vibrant and tracing side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of ripe and juicy lemon, crisp white peach and juicy white berries associated with touches of juicy white grapefruit as well as subtle hints of acacia flowers, peach flowers, star fruit, iodine and verbena. A slight hint of toasted almond completes the whole. Good length , nicely sapid and gourmet. It reveals a nice density, almost a notion of fresh tannins or chewiness on the finish and on the persistence. This wine has a nice finesse with a delicate fat, coming from the stirring on lees, which brings nuances of hazelnut and an elegant salinity. Beautiful persistence.
