CLOS DES LUNES « LUNE D’ARGENT » – 2022 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is expressive, gourmand and tangy, with a nice balance between the aromas of stone fruits and ripe citrus fruits. It expresses notes of white peach, ripe apricot, fresh pear (in the background) as well as ripe yellow lemon and candied lemon peel. A hint of green apple, a touch of fresh quince appear after aeration as well as white flowers (acacia, lime blossom, a hint of chamomile), lemon yogurt and ripe grapefruit with a good bitterness. The palate is gourmand round, fruity, with a good bitterness of grapefruit, yellow lemon peel and fresh zest as well as a hint of blood orange. There are also notes of yellow peach and apricot, white flowers (acacia, lime blossom, chamomile), a lactic hint of butter and vanilla. Beautiful roundness, gourmandise, the acidity is supple, but pleasant and quite fresh, the texture is oily and enveloping.
