The nose is racy, peppery, with a certain intensity and concentration in finesse, good finish. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small bright red fruits, associated with touches of licorice stick, fine hints of sage, almost pine needles, and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, with juiciness, a fresh, elegant frame, gourmandise, suppleness and brilliance. In mouth this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, roasted-elegant cherry, and small notes of raspberry, associated with touches of crushed cassis, as well as hints of licorice stick, pine needle, and very discreet zan, as well as a subtle hint of cola. A nicely gourmand and delicate wine, with a lovely texture and gourmandise brought by the barrel. Nice work on the good bitters. Good definition.
