The nose is fine, delicate and airy, offering tension, power and precision. We find notes of elegant cassis, small brilliant red fruits and touches of bright redcurrants associated with fine hints of cranberries, as well as discreet hints of vanilla and sweet tobacco. The palate is well-built, supple, airy and gourmand, offering tension, precision, a tangy frame, nice freshness, harmony, melodiousness and gourmandise. Lovely texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, redcurrant and, more lightly, cranberry, combined with touches of pulpy cherry as well as discreet hints of violet, infusion and a floral hint and a hint of toasted/chocolatey. Good length. A subtle hint of mocha on the persistence.
