The nose is elegant, deep, racy, precise and offers a fine, elegant austerity. We find notes of fresh blackberry, strawberry and, more lightly, small dense fruits associated with touches of lilac, as well as hints of small roasted-elegant berries and a discreet hint of incense and gravel. The palate is well-built, chiselled and taut, offering great energy, a tangy frame, precision as well as suppleness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/crisp cassis, violet and, more lightly, small wild red berries, combined with touches of small red berries/rhubarb, fine violet/flowery hints, as well as a hint of graphene, tobacco, and a discreet hint of toastiness and chocolate. Good length. Fine mellowness of tannins.
